OpenContentRepositories are repositories of OpenContent which can be reused by third parties. Ideally content should be clearly licensed, easy to find and of high quality. Repositories often use full text searching, folksomonies and user-created links to aid finding of content and ranking or collaborative filtering to sort the content by quality. Full text searching, folksonomies and collaborative filtering scale very well, up to millions of items, and are seen as very desirable for large repositories.
